👗 Dress Code

We're so excited to celebrate with you! The dress code is formal to semi-formal (tea-length welcome!), with an optional nod to an east coast beach club vibe (inspiration pictures available below!). The bridal party will be wearing beautiful shades of blue as well, so feel free to complement the palette if you'd like! Please skip the khaki shorts and Hawaiian shirts, but most importantly, choose something comfortable enough to dance the night away with us! 💃🕺🪩

Why Ryan?

We've decided to start this next chapter with a shared last name: Ryan.

Ryan is the last name of Alexander's step-grandfather, known to us as Bapa, who has been one of the most important people in his life. While not related by blood, you'd never know it. Bapa helped shape how Alexander sees the world (and even sparked his early love of technology), and his impact has been lasting in all the best ways.

Since the Ryan name wouldn't otherwise be carried on, this felt like a special way to honor him—and a meaningful name for us to share moving forward.

Plus, it keeps things nice and simple (goodbye, hyphen!). To keep a piece of where we each come from, we're both turning our original last names into our middle names.
